hey guys this is dante Trotter with the birds were here at CES 2013 taking a look at samsung's new smart hub for 2013 this is their smart TV interface for their new television 65,000 6500 series and greater televisions pretty much they've redesigned the interface with five panels we're going to have it's like Xbox like interface actually there's TV movies media social and apps and you navigate on this remote control with a touchpad and go through them one new feature that they're talking a lot about is recommendations Samsung is watching what you're watching on TV and they will provide recommendations on what you should watch over on the movies and tvs section movie and TV show section you will be able to pull in recommendations from voodoo Netflix cinema now and some other services samsung also included new gesture controls they're not completely different from what we've seen last year the remote control we have here only has a touchpad so if you want to see more you have to use this virtual remote interface that isn't very good but otherwise there are his voice recognition from before gesture controls for changing the volume and facial recognition for different profiles when you want to log into the TV it sounds going to have this available on their newer higher class televisions this year and the older TV is from last year will be able to be upgraded from a evolution kit that's a quick look at the 2013 Smart Hub from Samsung
