here with the sony xperia p it's a one
of the new experience phones sony's
really big about these are the first so
many smartphones one of the first phones
without the ericsson branding the big
deal with this phone is the white magic
display you can see it's pretty bright
and great nice contrast what they've
done is they take in a traditional LCD
with red green blue pixels and added a
stripe of white pixels next to it it's
not pentile it's actually just another
stripe of white pixels they say it makes
the screen brighter and easier to read
and a lot easier to read in some way as
you can see it's an aluminum unibody
construction with Sony's kind of
signature transparent element here and
the software is running is android 2.3
point seven so i was a little bit
disappointing sony says it'll be a look
at Ice Cream Sandwich sort of the middle
of second quarter I want a feature that
I have added is a really fast camera so
if you put this to sleep and then just
hold the shutter button down it jumps in
a camera mode right away take a picture
