hey this is jake with the verge we're
here after sony CES press conference
where it unveiled a new model that's
action cam it dramatically simplifies
its user interface last one was really
confusing and you could basically only
see one option at a time the new one is
a great interface that lets you see all
the different options you might want to
go into it once so you can much more
quickly set up your camera and start
shooting it's a huge improvement over
the last model which only let you see
one option at a time you have to keep
scrolling back and forth through them
it's pretty hard to understand this new
model might even be easier to navigate
in the GoPro for some people which would
be a big win for Sony in this market the
new camera sales with two hundred
dollars and it comes with a dive k
seller to go underwater frog for 167
feet supposed to be on sale around the
end of the month Sony's also selling
this camera with a live view remote
which you can wear or strap on to
something and then control your camera
remotely and see what the camera is
actually shooting it is the same exact
the interface as the camera itself which
means it'll be at least somewhat easy to
use so that's known as new action cam
