hey this is Ben popper reporting for The Verge at CES 2014 I'm here with the new model of the yellowjacket which is a cell phone case and stun gun this evens the plate so the idea where I'm going to head into the body soft tissue soft tissue so we're looking at the face right the face the eyes the neck right here here right even to the torso and especially the groin special if you want so the bottom here you see it has two little buttons flip it this way your stun guns engaged flip it this way it's charging your phone now in the old model you could charge your battery fully and be out a stun gun the new model has a feature so that if you're charging your phone it holds a little bit of charge at the end just so that if you're out on a long night partying you've always got a little stun gun though this new model will be on sale at the end of February goes up for pre-sale next week and it's retails for one $49.99 this is the hands-on so we should probably test the unit ass it works really works you
