JBL Xtreme 2 - new firmware update any improvement?

2018-07-02
hi guys and welcome I was just in the process of packing in the table extreme tool to send it back again but then suddenly this has arrived this is their hopes that is six that many of you had asked for and you can see it resembles the JBL quite a bit so I thought I should still keep it in order to compare both directly this will be coming next but first I also noticed the jpn had released a firmware update for the extreme tool with some of you I think it means not claiming that it sounds better now especially at high levels and I thought we should try out if it's really true I plan to do it like this I will record some songs at half volume also at maximum then I will do the update and record them again without moving anything you are only listening for an artificial head so you should listen with headphones if you don't hear me well if I'm not loud enough simply raise the volume to hear me realistically I'm to two and a half meters away from you but beware as we will crank the speaker to make some later on I cannot recall it - too close so I want to move the table a bit further so the recording with our volume will be a little bit soft but then I will crank it to maximum so Buhari this will be of course louder but this way I cannot move it even 1 centimeter would result in some difference in sound so I will let it here recall something at our volume it makes him later on do the same after the update and cut it together so we can hear the difference so please put your headphones and let's try it out I think you would hear there was indeed a difference especially at Highlands it's quite a bit louder now I would say about 1.6 1.7 DB louder and without this strange volume popping so it sounds simply more powerful at high levels at normal levels half yeah Trevor seems to be smoothing out a little bit so it's not as harsh any more of those some complaining yeah in its neck is only trying to revert it to the previous version as he doesn't like it I think it sounds nicer now at normal levels and especially at higher levels so yeah coolest ooh JBL that they managed some improvement here I couldn't believe this but there is definitely an improvement it's louder now without any volume fluctuations which I was complaining about before so now I would really highly recommend it I won't include it in my best of speakers Summer 2018 and I think it really deserves it still it's not an order so if you need it even louder yeah you need something else we are not the boom box it's louder but sounds crappy this sounds really great have to mix him and quite impressed I like it a lot and now I'm really considering keeping it but I paid the food price 300 euros so yeah I would I think I would send it back and then I will wait until some discount because some of my friends already got it for 250 and I will probably buy it again in future when I have the need for it currently I don't need it at all but yeah I like it so there was some difference I hope you could hear it as well and if it's an improvement for me definitely is as it should perform nicely at high levels which it didn't before but now it's Olympic louder mmm so I think it's definitely an overall improvement over the old table extreme so I hope this yeah it is clear up some confusion about the firmware update if you like the sound as it is now you don't need to update but I think it's even better now I personally some others don't it mean yeah have a listen again I think it sounds really nice now so yeah enjoy the speaker thanks for watching and see you next with the comparison to the hope star a6 bye bye
